Mount Abu, a green retreat in the desert and the highest peak in the Aravalli Range, is the only hill station of the Rajasthan state of western India at the height of 1220 m. Due to the location at the southern tip of Aravalli in the Sirohi district, it is a rocky plateau accompanied by cool climate, all thanks to good flora of coniferous trees and flowering shrubs surrounding the hillside.
